Hello Singapore

By Dave-C - CEO | August 22, 2007

One of our recent challenges has been how to provide our customers in the Asia/Pacific region with ongoing reliability and value for money, and match the pricing we offer to our customers in other parts of the world. Our service in Sydney Australia has shown impeccable 100% up-time (106 days of constant service without a second’s blip), and the people that we deal with “down-under” are just so darn friendly and technically superb. But the fact (pain?) of the matter is that, for what we spend on 400 gigs of monthly bandwidth in Australia, we can buy 3 or 4 terrabytes of traffic for the same money by moving slightly up the map to Singapore.

Singapore data centerSo we have. The deal-clincher came about when we found the Pacific Internet data-center in Singapore and started running some tests. Good transit times between Australia and Singapore proved that we were on to a winner, and the diverse routes North West into Europe and eastwards around the Pacific into West Coast USA, meant that, at last, we can offer all our cPanel hosting customers exactly the same deal in terms of space and bandwidth, regardless of where they want their account hosting.

Same gigs, same bandwidth, same price (multiple currency choices) in all 3 cPanel hosting centers are now here, giving you the choice to host your web site close to your target marketplace or audience (and the option to move between centers with no downtime and no price or options change, should you so wish).

We’ll be updating the Netnibble national sites with all the details over the next 2 or 3 weeks, but if you wish to discuss your hosting location more immediately, please open a ticket for Sales and we’ll get you fixed up right away.
