California earthquake
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008Yesterday morning a 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred 29 miles outside of Los Angeles, near Chino Hills, California. We are pleased to advise customers of the 2 facilities we use in Los Angeles that these data-centers were unaffected and continue to operate normally.

Pandora off-line for a short while
Monday, July 14th, 2008Our server Pandora in Pennsylvania is currently offline for an operating system re-install (version change). No customers are affected by this and the server will be back up shortly.

Network Issue - Amsterdam, Holland
Tuesday, July 8th, 2008The LeaseWeb BV NOC have notified us of a partial network failure affecting our Amsterdam services. Techs are actively working on this to bring full service back.

DDoS attack, EasyNet Holland
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008One of our European servers, SATURN, is currently unreachable or responding very slowly due to a DDoS attack aimed at EasyNet. The data-center techs are doing everything possible to mitigate the attack and re-route traffic. At one point they were managing to return traffic to near-normal levels. Maximus server upgrade
Monday, May 5th, 2008We’re going to be taking the Maximus server, located in Pennsylvania USA, off-line shortly for an upgrade.
Customer accounts and mail have already been moved to other servers, so you will not be affected by this down-time.

Datacenter Maintenance - New Jersey, USA
Thursday, February 7th, 2008Starting tomorrow, and over the weekend, some maintenance work is being conducted at the New Jersey West Data Center (Fortress ITX). This will impact our CRESSIDA server only.
The necessary work involves upgrading equipment and routers while implementing major adjustments on distribution switches, core/edge routers and Layer2 connectivity.
