Datacenter Maintenance - New Jersey, USA
Thursday, February 7th, 2008Starting tomorrow, and over the weekend, some maintenance work is being conducted at the New Jersey West Data Center (Fortress ITX). This will impact our CRESSIDA server only.
The necessary work involves upgrading equipment and routers while implementing major adjustments on distribution switches, core/edge routers and Layer2 connectivity.

Power test - Herdon, Virginia, USA data-center

Network outage - GNAX data-center, Atlanta, USA
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008At 09:41 GMT this morning, our monitoring reported a total loss of connectivity to the GNAX data-center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Network technicians started investigations immediately. At 10:14 GMT we posted a bulletin to our back-up blog (http://backup.netnibble.net) to alert customers of the issue.

NEPTUNE server
Tuesday, January 8th, 2008We currently have an issue with the Neptune server at Atlanta 1. Techs are looking into this as a matter of urgency and we will update this bulletin as soon as we have further information.
Update: Neptune is now on-line again, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this down-time.

Network Outage - Atlanta 2
Friday, December 14th, 2007Some network issues with an upstream provider at the Telx data-center in Atlanta caused 4 short breaks of service today, affecting our ATLAS server.
Atlas provides one of our monitoring services, back-up DNS and supplementary mail, so no customer web-sites were affected.

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007The NEPTUNE server at Atlanta 1, Georgia, will be undergoing essential maintenance tonight - The kernel and core software on this node will be upgraded and a reboot is required to load the new kernel. The scheduled time for the reboot is Thursday November 1st 3am EST.
